How does exercise help me and how do I start?

Many clients come in to their session asking about exercise, stretching and other forms of movement.    I once heard that stretching is another form of massage since it helps increase blood flow to the muscles and their attachments and I think that statement sums it up very well.    Just think how nice it will be to enhance your massage benefits with some simple lifestyle changes?
Plan out your strategy for your new exercise routine.   Maybe begin with 5-10 minutes of gentle stretching then go for a 20 minute walk.     The summer months are perfect for beginning a walking (or jogging!) routine.
The most important thing is to begin slowly,  it's hard to maintain a routine if you are sore and exhausted.

Try upping your intensity on a weekly basis and let me know how it goes!   Next time we will look into the benefits of incorporating light weights into the routine.

Exercise really helps with many things. Aside for being healthy, a daily exercise will help you lessen your tardiness. Doing nothing most of the time will make your body prone to health issues. That is why many experts always tell us to maintain our proper diet and make sure to exercise daily at least 30 minutes to an hour a day. This will also help your body not to get easily exhausted for the day.

I know exercise is very important to us, but some people are not exercising and I'm one of them. I just have my daily routine of waking up in the morning, take a shower, prepare my stuff to work and then I go to school by afternoon. I don't have a regular exercise, that's why sometimes I feel dizzy or I do not have the energy. Now I will have to try this tip you gave to us. I'll do some stretching in the morning and jog for about five minutes. Your blog post helped me change my daily routine.

I am a very lazy person. I love sitting around and I always lay in my bed. Because of this, it gave a bad effect to my health because my blood do not flow really well. So my doctor recommended to get a massage or try to exercise every day. It was super hard at first because, as what I said, I am a very lazy person. But for my health, I have to get up and get some stretching. It is a great thing that I found this blog and it helped me in motivating myself.
